《菩萨咒》讲述阿玲与家人巨金投亲，不料途中遇海盗打劫沉船而丧生，并变成了孤魂野鬼，只有其妹妹被救获。少女阿金开罪了阿玲，把阿玲镇于河底，以示惩戒。阿金父母请来居士以法术救出阿金，阿玲利用黄金买通邪派巫师马安对付居士。马安法力不济，往求师父杨泽霖报仇。居士为了不让阿玲利用金钱找人与他作对，决取走黄金。杨作法迷住居士，将人及黄金带走，把居士押于地牢。
