　　After a worldwide catastrophe, a man lives in a damp bunker. His only companion, a doll, helps him while away his days. The man searches for news about the world, drifts ineffectually on radio waves, and cherishes the hope of meeting his family - his wife and son. The doll tries to persuade him to abandon his hopes and take action.
