2012年9月29日，第31届大众电影百花奖在浙江绍兴揭晓。冯小刚执导的电影《唐山大地震》成最大赢家，获得了最佳影片、最佳导演、最佳编剧和最佳新人4项大奖，此次冯小刚导演也是继2008年《集结号》第29届、2010年《非诚勿扰》第30届之后连续三届蝉联百花奖最佳导演奖，本片编剧苏小卫（思芜、秋实）成为百花奖最佳编剧奖恢复以来首位获奖者。
