根据路笛、路月明原著 改编的这部35集电视连续剧《南下支 队》，是根据庆阳军分区原司令员王 宝生同志于抗日战争期间，跟随王震 将军所率领的三五九旅南下支队的亲 身经历为依据创作而成。南下支队于 1944年奉党中央和毛主席的命令，在 抗击日寇时，冲破敌人重重封锁线， 历经二万余里，从延安出发远征江南 敌后，建立抗日根据地。毛泽东把这 次南征赞誉为“第二次长征”。
