《平原丰碑》以肃宁的抗战事件为主线，采访了200余位在肃宁战斗过的老战士及其家属，采用了大量珍贵的视频和图片资料，揭露了日寇暴行，弘扬了抗战精神，全景式重现了抗日战争时期肃宁人民在中国共产党的带领下艰苦卓绝的抗战史，诠释了中华民族不畏艰险、不怕牺牲的精神。同时，该片作为我县党史学习教育的本土教材已放映上千场次，让广大党员干部更好地了解肃宁红色历史、传承红色基因。
