从《床下有人》的“古镇凶灵”、《床下有人2》的“医学院闹鬼疑云”到《床下有人3》中日为人间床，夜为阴界棺的“冥界婚床”，影片延续了系列电影的惊悚风格。据片方透露，电影《床下有人4》的筹备工作已经展开，影片将在故事、制作、演员阵容等方面全面升级，启用好莱坞金牌制作班底，打造华语首部真3D恐怖电影，演员方面更有一线女星章子怡加盟，以更为优良的制作打造华语惊悚电影的经典IP。
