抗战胜利前夕，山东半岛有黄廖夫率领的共产党清河支队与郑一雄为代表的国民党琅琊独立旅两支抗日队伍，清河支队在黄廖夫率领下挫败了国民党琅琊独立旅的屡屡算计，拼死抗日，迎来抗战胜利。抗战胜利后，黄廖夫奉命率部挺进东北，而屡屡在黄廖夫手下遭受挫败的郑一雄所部也奉命一路追赶，两个在山东战场上缠斗已久的老对手又在东北战场狭路相逢。郑一雄也在和黄廖夫的一次次对阵之中，幡然悔悟，最终携手为全中国的解放事业做出贡献。
