加拿大Showcase剧《穿越者 Travelers》过去两季为与Netflix合拍，然后后者在其他地区给予点播，但后来Netflix宣布续订《穿越者》第三季，并成为该剧全球率先播放媒体（简化版意思：《穿越者》第三季起将变成Netflix的剧集）。Netflix宣布《穿越者》第三季将于美国时间12月14日上线。
主演Eric McCormack表示过，变成Netflix剧的《穿越者》仍然会留在加拿大。
