环球正在筹备一部根据同名小说改编的战争片[至海之盐](Salt to the Sea，暂译)。小说于2016年出版，并采取多线性叙事。故事根据二战“古斯特洛夫号”的沉船事件改编，共有9400人在此次事故中罹难，也是史上最重大的海难沉船事件。目前片方未公布主创人员信息。
