纳粹党卫队高级将领阿道夫·艾希曼终于被以色列情报机构掳获，押解回耶路撒冷受审。但由于直接证据不足，以色列警方很难以法律手段定其罪行。这对主管这起案件的警监阿夫纳·莱斯来说，是一个巨大挑战。他必须设法从这个“最终解决方案”的主谋口中取得口供，否则这个千方百计逃避惩罚的纳粹战犯很可能再次逍遥法外。面对如此棘手的重要见证人，阿夫纳只能采取极端手段审问艾希曼，希望逼迫他在压力下缴械投降，为数以百万计受难者寻求一个交代.....
