故事紧接上一季结尾，Kiera阻止了Liber8组织发动的恐怖袭击，但事情却远不止这么简单。当本季开始之时，市长被大胆的刺客刺杀，已经消失了一段时间的Kiera不得不再次出现，与Carlos联手调查这起案件。与此同时，Kiera尝试与Alec重新取得联系并缓解他们之间的紧张关系，但是Alec在读过未来自己所留的信息之后已经完全变了一个人。
