ABC以试映集协议拿下新项目《特殊凶杀科 Homicide Special》，这部剧由《驻院医生 The Resident》的主创之一Amy Holden Jones及执行制片Andrew Chapman共同执笔，讲述费城警局里的特殊凶杀科，组里有两个年轻﹑新晋升的女警探及一名巡警，他们既得处理凶杀案也得应付警局那根深蒂固的腐败制度。
