安宁的库尔德人城镇遭受化武袭击，喀迪尔带着怀孕的妻子和三个孩子踏上了逃亡之路，他们的命运将会如何？本片根据1987年伊拉克化武袭击伊朗城镇的真实历史事件改编，该袭击造成近万人伤亡，伤者留下永久性残疾。影片全方位地还原了这场惨烈悲剧。饰演男主角的佩曼·莫阿迪曾凭借《一次别离》获得柏林电影节最佳男主角银熊奖。本片荣获2020年伊朗曙光旬国际电影节最佳导演和最佳男主角两项大奖。
