泰雅男孩尤幹放假回鄉，和玩伴一起上山卻迷了路，遇見神祕的醉翁，度過被營火照料的夜晚。在平地求學所受的苦，以及家庭破碎的遺憾，都在這個被祖靈擁抱的夜晚過後，有了新的意義。金馬獎最佳導演陳潔瑤在紀錄片《泰雅巴萊》、劇情片《哈勇家》之後，三度與她的最佳男主角張祖鈞合作，記下部落男孩面對環境變遷、族群流變的掙扎與歸屬。
