　　Young, beautiful, and ambitious Ada Jordan answers an ad for a secretarial job and after a surprisingly short interview is hired by her handsome, urbane boss, Cooper Fielding. She is charmed by his Southern manners and agrees to accompany him to the isolated estate of his invalid Aunt Martha. In short order she finds her dream job has turned into a nightmare.
